Yip, yip says the baby coyote

Dear K,
When you're old enough to read this, I hope you'll forgive me. But I'm really glad it's the 21st century and I can have a career of my own, because if my biggest intellectual achievement every day was reading you "Baby Animals of the Southwest" seventeen times in a row, I think I would have to throw myself out the nearest window. Sometimes I get so bored when you want to read the same book over and over and over that I want to lay down right there on the floor and go to sleep. Once or twice, I did. Last time, I opened my eyes to find you laughing and sticking your finger up my nose. I deserved it, I suppose.
Love,
Bad Mommy

Heh. And yet somehow I find that more intellectually stimulating than reading cases.

*sigh*

Soooo true. I think that way too often on the weekends. Glad to know other good mommies feel the same way :)
