The two-minute summary

One sleeve is drenched, the other is covered in prune goo, the tub is still full of soapy water, and I haven't started tomorrow's Con Law reading. But I've neglected this blog for long enough to warrant a quick catchup.

School started this week. I attended every class I could think of and added, dropped, and waitlisted like nobody's business. Still trying to get into one last class -- I'm third on the waitlist. But I got out of the evening seminars and, if I get that last class, I'll be satisfied with my schedule. Contemplating taking an undergrad language class, but I will probably be too lazy. Maybe next semester.

K is enjoying daycare. I went early on Friday and hung out with him there for a while. The woman who runs it (let's call her Mrs. Daycare) got big smiles out of him and pointed out the musical turtle that he likes to play with. I am so glad we found Mrs. Daycare.

On the sleep front, I decided to start getting K up for a 10:30 feeding and not feeding him again until morning. That way his continuous sleep starts when I go to bed instead of at 7 when he goes to bed. So far, so good: the first two nights we were up half the night with him, but he's gotten better each night and yesterday he slept through until 6 a.m. I don't want to jinx it, but regularly getting seven consecutive hours of sleep sounds like heaven after eight months of prenatal insomnia followed by six months of waking at all hours.

We were out of town the last two weekends and will be out of town for the next two. My to-do list gets continually longer. I still love law school and K gets more fun every day. So, to sum up: crazed, but happy.
