Language development

This morning, K said "I love you!" Or he may have been referring to "labne," the Armenian yogurt cheese.

K has been talking up a storm lately. He called his father an egghead and asked for a bunkbed. He has expressed his desire to go to Australia, Guam, and Benin, or at least on a picnic. His favorite baby food brand is Gerber and if he could, he would eat a burger.

He's really quite precocious. Just the other day, he said, "Ngeh bwa maga cotubabu," which, unless I am entirely mistaken, is Swahili for "The coastal swallow migrates this fortnight." He must have picked that one up at daycare.

We're still working on "Mommy."
