101 things in 1001 days

I LOVE this idea -- a list of 101 concrete things to accomplish in the next 1001 days. The original idea came from here. There are a ton of these lists out there -- some are linked from the Triplux site, and you can find more by Googling "101 things in 1001 days" or checking out the webring.

Here are mine. I looked at other people's lists for inspiration and stole some items. Some I already had on here and found them on lots of other people's lists as well. (Everyone wants to take a cooking class, for some reason. And get a facial.) Several of these are long shots, but that's okay.

If I start today, I should be done by August 29, 2007.

Final update: Accomplished 58. That's more than half, at least. Some of the items moved way down in the priority list over time.

Update (9/4/06): 55 down, 46 to go! (But #95 makes a few of the others improbable.)

Additional update (7/1/05): Made two changes to replace wrist-intensive goals.
